The guide makes the tour and Johnny was the best! He shared a wealth of information and interspersed it with movie and TV tidbits regarding what was realistic from the film's and where specific scenes were filmed. Our 2hour van ride was filled with music and Scottish history, lore and laughter.
Easy way to get to Culloden

Great opportunity to see Outlander filming locations.
The trip to the jewelry store was unnecessary.
Guide was not the best, sleepy and not very vocal.

We had Ross as our super friendly tour guide and we're very pleased with our entire day. It was a heritage trip with my mother and sister but as my sister and I are also fans of Outlander and other Scottish shows we really enjoyed how well informed Ross was and the insider knowledge of filming and locations and history in general. He even helped us research our relatives in available reference materials and had invaluable advice for our mother who walks with a cane on how to see as much as possible with her limited mobility. We would definitely book again and it was wonderful to have someone who can talk as much as I do and not find me a bother lol. Looking forward to booking again soon.
