Such an amazing experience

This was amazing! Grandma & grandson did this (70 & 12) and the chef was so friendly and funny & kind. There was a French to English translator included as well. They learned so much and cannot wait to get home to try it all out. Tasting the croissants at the end was fantastic!
Deeply inspired :)

It was only me and my husband for our session and the class was very intimate. We loved it very much. We learned a great deal about baking a baguette and baking a croissant. We learned about baking history and anecdotal stories from the baker himself. It’s very clear that the baker loves what he does. He is very passionate and we were honored to have learned from him. I am so inspired that I want to bake bread at my home when I’m done with this trip lol. You won’t regret taking the class. It was taught with an English translator :)
You haven't done Paris until you've done this class!

Highly recommend this baking class!! It's more than just following instructions. You really get an in-depth look into the entire process and history of baking baguettes and croissants. Didier was an amazing teacher. He had so much knowledge, but was also funny, great to get along with and was patient with all our questions. I really enjoyed the part where we all got to take turns making different patterns with the bread! I even got to take the bread out of the oven with the long wooden paddle. This is an ideal-sized class, as it is very small and intimate, so you feel like it's really personal. I absolutely loved it! I was pleasantly surprised when we got to make pain au chocolat as well as the regular croissants. What a treat! We got to take our bageutte home with us and they also send you an email with the recipes at the end, including the various tips we were given as well (especially for when you don't have all the professional equipment).
Viator disappointed us as a platform

This is not the Bakers’s fault… Viator Booked our experience months in advance for 3 PM and sold us those tickets. We later got an email saying that time was not available and we had to choose an earlier time. In fairness, we agreed to that in the email. But we were never issued new tickets and the confirmation still said 3 PM. Months later, we had forgotten that email and looked at our tickets to understand when we needed to be there. We arrived at 3 PM to find out our session wasn’t available and we were out 900 bucks. If the platform is going to move you to a different date than the original booking, they should offer updated tickets and update their system with reminders around the new date and time of location. They were very bummed to miss this highly recommended experience and of course losing $900 was not great either
A highlight of our Paris Trip!

A highlight of our trip to Paris! A must do experience. The owner of the bake shop was so welcoming and the experience is both interesting and interactive. Lots of great baking info and tips, along with hands on practice. Plus you get to eat your creations! Wonderful for families, as long as your kids can stand and focus for approx 2.5 hours.
